✦ MORNING STRETCH
For this animation, I edited an image of a cat to resemble paper that had been cut apart and put back together with sharp edges. My goal was to make the final video feel like a real collage brought to life. After editing the photo, I rigged it with DUIK Angela in After Effects and added a some postprocessing effects.
✦ sounds of nature
I created this animation to test my compositing skills and see how much atmosphere I could give a flat design. I began with a simple previs animation to block out the major features, then refined it into a full animation. To give it a finishing touch, several postprocessing effects were added, most notably, a reflection in the water and enhanced lighting.
✦ DRIFT
For this last animation, I experimented with cel animation to create a simple moment in time. I wanted to see how much storytelling I could get out of a single scene. Below is the sketch as well as the final assets before compositing.
